ABOUT HELPING HANDS HELPING OTHERS

Helping Hands Helping Others, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2002 by a grass root community activist, Pqushia Epps. HHHO started as a math tutoring program for DeKalb County youth. Throughout the program evolution, Ms. Epps saw a growing need for more charitable contributions.
With the success of the program and an overwhelming need in the community, local educators and volunteer members volunteered to assist with more after-school academic enrichment programs with the support of DeKalb County Public Schools.
HHHO incorporated in January of 2005 and expanded its community involvement to include food drives for the homeless. Within six months of incorporation, the organization adopted The Atlanta Day Shelter for Homeless Women and Children. This collaboration proved to be a pivotal point in the evolution of HHHO's community involvement.
HHHO continues to explore ways to assist other charities in an effort to "make a difference." It is our wish to expand our charitable efforts to include a multitude of communities in United State and beyond. In the words of the Executive Director, "Our greatest accomplishment at Helping Hands Helping Others is the blessing to provide social services to people who are really in need."
OUR VISION:
To create the most trustworthy and caring environment where the children and youth we serve could find worth and value.
